I heard Nikon are going to discontinue their compact camera range. If it was a ruse to get me to finally buy the p1000 then it worked. This thing has stupid zoom. I have the p900 which also has stupid zoom (85×) but this has even more stupid zoom at 125×. I am looking forward to clear skies and a photogenically crescent moon to really see what it can do.
