I decided to do Inktober this year. It's a drawing challenge set up by trademarked by Jake Parker and it's been running for quite a few years now. I've never done it before for lack of confidence, though I told myself it was a lack of time. I've been pushing myself this year to draw more, and to adapt the old camera adage - the best drawing tool is the one you have with you. In my case that's usually the iPad. So yes, I've not followed the strict rules of drawing purely in ink on paper, but you know what? It doesn't matter to me. The point was to have a challenge and do a drawing a day. To keep some kind of analogue-ish restriction, I didn't use undo or copy and paste. I've had a lot of fun with the challenge, and I think I'm going to do another (different) one for November.
