Oh good!

I wasn’t expecting that. I was hoping for that, but expecting another disappointment, to have to comfort friends in the US, to hope that they’d get through the next four years, that the damage to the world (and the effect on our own politics) could be limited somehow… but now? Wow! What a change in mood, what a sense of hope again.
