Summer Garden

The previous owners of our house planted so many fruit trees and shrubs, it's wonderful.

It feels like cheating somehow to have so much free fruit, just appearing like that.

The plums aren't doing so well this year, I think because we moved in too late to prune it last year and no one had been around to look after it over the summer. It was very overgrown and crowded. Pruned now, with all the mouldy fruit cut off and branches trimmed and cleaned.
